Call Center Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to a high volume of incoming patient calls, offering timely, courteous, and precise assistance.

• Resolve patient inquiries, concerns, and billing questions with empathy.

• Assess caller needs and identify the appropriate resolution path based on client-specific guidelines and workflows.

• Collect information, address issues when feasible, and execute follow-up actions.

• Investigate issues by reviewing account details, reaching out to third parties, and collecting necessary documentation.

• Make outbound calls, send emails, and fax requested information to facilitate resolution.

• Keep detailed and accurate records in the patient account system.

• Ensure confidentiality by complying with HIPAA regulations and standards.

• Achieve or surpass established daily targets.

• Effectively manage workload in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

• Contribute positively to team culture and ongoing improvement efforts.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Knowledge of insurance billing is advantageous; extensive training will be provided.

• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with accuracy.

• Capability to maintain composure under pressure and in high-volume scenarios.

• Proficient in managing a heavy workload efficiently and meeting tight deadlines.

• Ability to conduct sensitive conversations with professionalism.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to identify suitable resolutions.

• Clear and professional communication skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Adept at multitasking, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Ability to independently oversee the role, objectives, and business practices in a remote setting.

• Must comply with HIPAA regulations and Digitech compliance standards.
