Call Center Associate – Medicaid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Address inquiries from Virginia Medicaid members and providers utilizing a computerized system, along with standard scripts and procedures.

• Collect information, evaluate the needs of callers, research and resolve inquiries, and document the calls.

• Provide details concerning eligibility, claim status, and provider enrollment status.

• Adhere to established policies and procedures, including call management and escalation processes.

• Advocate for both Medicaid recipients and providers.

• Achieve productivity, attendance, and performance targets.

• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Verify documentation and images.

• Complete all required training assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Background checks and/or drug screenings may be required.

• Access to high-speed internet is essential.

• A dedicated workspace free from noise and distractions is necessary.

• Bilingual abilities; Spanish proficiency is preferred.

• Prior experience in a call center or customer service is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, or health insurance is preferred.

• Experience with computer systems, including data entry and database documentation, is required.

• Knowledge of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) is beneficial.

• Experience in handling inbound customer support calls is essential.

• Strong communication and customer service skills are necessary.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced call center environment.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems are required.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are expected.
