Benefits Call Center Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Handle incoming calls

• Respond to inquiries regarding kits sent to beneficiaries

• Guide beneficiaries through the forms necessary to initiate their benefits

• Review stop and reissuing cases

• Process death kits

• Manage email inboxes

• Collaborate with team members

• Assist participants and beneficiaries by answering benefit-related questions and offering support throughout the benefits process

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening

• Familiarity with pension accounts and defined benefit (DB) skills

• Strong organizational abilities

• Excellent time management capabilities

• Customer service-oriented with clear and professional communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions accurately

• Achieve a passing score on an internet speed test: download ≥25 Mbps, upload ≥5 Mbps, ping ≤175 ms

• Must be able to connect to a modem/router using an ethernet cable

• Must reside in an eligible state or municipality; the employer is not hiring in AK, AZ, CA, CT, CO, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MO, MT, NE, NJ, NY, RI, OR, VT, or WA, nor in the listed metropolitan areas
