This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support to both patients and staff via inbound and outbound phone communications.
• Professionally handle multi-line telephone systems.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, relaxed, and welcomed upon their arrival at the practice.
• Interact with patients, visitors, and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Efficiently and accurately schedule various types of appointments.
• Comprehend and manage schedule templates for all providers and departments.
• Accurately and thoroughly enter patient demographic information.
• Collaborate effectively with team members on tasks.
• Record patient requests and relevant information appropriately.
• Stay informed about office protocols and physician schedules.
• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• At least one (1) year of experience in customer service, call centers, medical offices, or healthcare is preferred.
• Prior experience in appointment scheduling is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
