This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire the skills to perform Preventative Maintenance, FMIs, and/or ISIs accurately and punctually.
• Support seasoned field engineers in the installation of equipment.
• Collaborate with experienced field engineers to address basic troubleshooting and service repair requirements for designated equipment.
• Stay informed about administrative duties, including timely maintenance of customer service logs and internal service records, ordering repair components, and managing cycle times.
• Employ the GEHC escalation process as necessary and work in conjunction with regional and national support to establish and execute corrective action plans aimed at resolving customer issues promptly.
• Act as a member of the account community for major accounts.
• Independently respond to service calls without assistance within one year of joining the company.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 4 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
• Proficiency in web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to be available "after hours" or to work a rotating On-Call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues and necessary coverage.
• Up to 85% travel may be required, depending on geographical location and business needs.
