Oracle CPQ Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical expert for Oracle CPQ in client engagements, steering the solution design throughout the implementation and deployment phases.

• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to comprehend business needs, assess technical strategies, and propose scalable Oracle CPQ solutions.

• Design and set up Oracle CPQ functionalities, including pricing, subscriptions, Bill of Materials (BOM), Redwood UI, Rate Cards, and Approval Workflows.

• Create Oracle CPQ integrations utilizing APIs to facilitate AI-assisted quoting workflows and downstream business processes.

• Evaluate current CPQ configurations, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and implement solutions aligned with client business goals.

• Work in partnership with architects, developers, business analysts, and client subject matter experts to ensure seamless integration of Oracle CPQ solutions within the overall application architecture.

• Document solution designs, configuration choices, and implementation strategies for both technical and business audiences.

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Oracle CPQ configuration, pricing, and integration throughout the engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ implementation, including at least one complete lifecycle project from design to go-live.

• Extensive experience in configuring Oracle CPQ Pricing, Subscriptions, BOMs, Approval Workflows, and Redwood UI.

• Proficient in developing Oracle CPQ integrations using REST API.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of a design from concept to implementation with minimal supervision.

• Strong consulting approach; adept at tackling ambiguous challenges, suggesting solutions, and justifying technical decisions with client stakeholders.

• Experience in a consulting or professional services setting supporting external clients is advantageous.

• Familiarity with supporting or integrating AI-assisted or agentic workflows is a plus.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
