This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver real-time remote support during the commissioning phases, which include first fire, tuning, performance validation, and reliability runs.
• Monitor operational data and alarms of the plant to proactively identify potential issues.
• Lead investigations and troubleshooting efforts for intricate technical challenges.
• Coordinate corrective measures with site commissioning teams.
• Analyze data from DCS, historians, and monitoring systems for diagnostics and performance assessments.
• Conduct trend analyses and fault diagnostics on GT, ST, HRSG, BOP, and control systems.
• Act as a technical liaison among site teams, engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and project management.
• Assist with data connectivity and system integration tasks for new plants.
• Ensure adherence to internal standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements, including NERC compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including issue logs, resolutions, and lessons learned.
• Contribute to the development of CSC procedures and best practices.
• Engage in audits, reviews, and readiness assessments.
• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff.
• Oversee incident response and escalation processes.
• Assist in the preparation of test reports and facilitate data transfer to service teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as P6 is preferred.
• Understanding of ISO procedures and OSHA safety standards is advantageous.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and regulations.
• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting technical data, diagrams, and resolving complex problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and email applications.
• Ability to fulfill physical requirements, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
