Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• You will serve as the main technical liaison for Global 1000 prospects and enterprise clients, collaborating closely with sales to showcase, design, and develop using CopilotKit.

• Your role involves conducting live demonstrations, creating code proof-of-concepts, and offering hands-on technical support to ensure customers can confidently transition to production.

• You will facilitate weekly working sessions to debug customer code, provide architectural insights on agent-user interaction patterns, address issues and inquiries from clients, and generate technical content that engages potential customers.

• You will collaborate directly with engineering leadership for guidance and mentorship while aiding the transition from individual contributions to a scalable go-to-market strategy.

• It is essential to approach problems from a systems and outcomes perspective rather than solely focusing on implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid expertise in **TypeScript (React)** or **Python**.

• Proven experience in building and architecting AI agents.

• **AI-native workflow**: You actively utilize AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) to quickly prototype demonstrations, explore architectures, and enhance customer interactions; you think at the systems and outcomes level, directing AI while critically assessing outputs.

• Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner to both engineers and business leaders.

• Comfortable delivering presentations to engineers and business stakeholders alike.

• Previous experience in pre-sales, Solutions Engineering, or DevRel with significant customer-facing responsibilities.

• A curious and resourceful mindset — eager to learn and share insights, even in speculative situations.

• Interest in developer tools and open-source ecosystems.

• Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Google ADK, etc.

• Experience in creating technical content (blog posts, demos, walkthroughs).
