CAE Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical liaison for the CAE software product suite.

• Assist regional sales managers with technical tasks throughout the sales process, including demonstrations, presentations, and trial-license/evaluation training.

• Develop and utilize comprehensive design cases for each product during quality assurance testing of beta, maintenance, and release versions.

• Produce videos, tutorials, and exercises showcasing CAE software features and upgrades.

• Keep presentations up to date that highlight the capabilities of each software code.

• Confirm and test bug fixes and product upgrades.

• Conduct technical validations for customers to aid in their purchasing decisions.

• Collect and organize customer feedback to support product development.

• Provide assistance with customer training initiatives.

• Analyze competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.

• Create technical knowledge-base articles from the software support database.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• 1–2 years of hands-on applications engineering experience with engineering design software.

• An additional 1–3 years of engineering design and analysis experience, particularly in turbomachinery, is preferred.

• Openness and ability to travel globally up to 20% of working time.
