Sales Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Generate and cultivate new business opportunities with potential customers within the assigned territory.

• Manage key accounts for major existing clients.

• Acquire new customers for the sensor product line in the industrial, medical, and transportation sectors.

• Introduce new products in collaboration with product management and development teams.

• Maintain direct communication and relationship management with customers.

• Offer technical support to clients.

• Comprehend sensor applications and customer needs.

• Boost sales by enhancing existing customer accounts, expanding business partnerships, and establishing new client relationships.

• Establish yourself as a Trusted Advisor to key customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics; alternatively, significant experience as a developer, product manager, applications engineer, or technical sales representative in the sensor sector.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within the sensor industry.

• Proficiency in selling pressure or flow sensors (or sensor components).

• Familiarity with sales tracking software.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• Capability to address commercial and technical objections from prospective clients/customers.

• Aptitude for problem-solving and managing diverse variables.

• Willingness to work hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.

• Remote position based in the United States.
