This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Employ AutoCAD to draft and conduct quality assurance/quality control for permitting and design exhibits, while also reviewing colleagues' work.
• Create and modify survey drawings using AutoCAD, and Civil 3D when necessary.
• Annotate survey data, including bearings, distances, and coordinate information (latitude/longitude, northing/easting).
• Operate within the Public Land Survey System (PLSS) to accurately represent land boundaries and survey components.
• Implement consistent standards for labeling, linework, and clarity in drawings across all deliverables.
• Leverage existing templates for the creation of exhibits.
• Use Microsoft Excel to develop spreadsheets and tables.
• Modify GIS databases through the AutoCAD FDO connection to refresh attributes and feature geometry.
• Acquire and apply knowledge of rules, regulations, and client design specifications while drafting exhibits.
• Revise and assist in the creation of written process documentation.
• Monitor assigned tasks, budget, and timeline; coordinate with the Coordinator to prioritize numerous responsibilities.
• Engage with team members, the Coordinator, and the Production Manager regarding workload status.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance drafting quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Over 1 year of professional experience utilizing AutoCAD.
• Intermediate expertise in AutoCAD (knowledge of Civil 3D is advantageous).
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Intermediate understanding of oil and gas regulations, equipment, and terminology.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while maintaining engagement and connection with the team.
• Quick learner of new exhibits and workflows; adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Strong skills in multitasking and prioritization.
• Team-oriented with a customer-centric approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
