CAD Designer, Installations for Brands

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Analyze client briefs, brand guidelines, functional requirements, and project goals.

• Generate innovative concepts for exhibition spaces, branded environments, and custom displays.

• Create precise 2D CAD layouts, elevations, sections, and construction details.

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models utilizing AutoCAD and Autodesk 3ds Max.

• Produce photorealistic renders with 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Corona Renderer.

• Prepare production, construction, and shop drawings.

• Convert creative ideas into practical, buildable, and cost-effective solutions.

• Design custom joinery, display units, counters, walling, signage elements, and standalone structures.

• Integrate modular exhibition systems into uniquely designed environments.

• Specify materials, substrates, finishes, fixtures, and construction methods.

• Create artwork, presentation materials, and supporting visual content.

• Modify designs and technical drawings based on client feedback, production needs, and onsite conditions.

• Collaborate with producers, designers, fabricators, carpenters, joiners, signage suppliers, and installers.

• Review drawings for precision, dimensions, materials, buildability, and production criteria.

• Oversee multiple design projects while meeting tight client and production timelines.

• Maintain well-organized drawing files, models, artwork, and project documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD at an advanced level is a must.

• Quick, accurate, and highly efficient in 2D CAD drafting and 3D CAD modeling.

• Advanced skills in 2D drafting using AutoCAD.

• Strong expertise in 3D modeling with AutoCAD and Autodesk 3ds Max.

• Excellent 3D visualization and rendering skills using 3ds Max.

• Experience in creating photorealistic renders with Chaos V-Ray and Corona Renderer.

• Advanced skills in production and shop drawing creation.

• Ability to prepare drawings that are clear for fabricators, carpenters, joiners, and installers.

• Knowledgeable in dimensions, layers, blocks, layouts, scales, drawing standards, and CAD file management.

• Capability to produce accurate design documentation under tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

• Practical understanding of exhibition, interior, and freestanding-structure fabrication, assembly, and installation.

• Knowledge of material thicknesses, construction tolerances, fixing methods, structural connections, and installation requirements.

• Strong understanding of MDF, plywood, timber, laminates, aluminum, steel, acrylic, plastics, fabrics, composites, and signage substrates.

• Ability to interpret client briefs, brand guidelines, and project specifications.

• Excellent creative and practical problem-solving abilities.

• Highly creative, imaginative, and passionate about design.

• Interest in interiors, architecture, spatial design, and contemporary design trends.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and meeting urgent deadlines.

• Strong eye for color, composition, proportion, materials, and design details.

• Experience working with fabricators, carpenters, cabinetmakers, joiners, and installation teams is highly beneficial.

• Familiarity with timber construction, custom joinery, metal fabrication, plastics, acrylic fabrication, and signage production is highly valued.

• Experience with Octanorm, Maxima, Aluvision, and beMatrix exhibition systems is also highly regarded.
