Cache ObjectScript Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance integration solutions.

• Design and implement scalable, high-volume data integration and interoperability solutions utilizing InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, Ensemble, Cache, and ObjectScript.

• Create, upgrade, and maintain healthcare system interfaces using HL7v2, HL7v3, FHIR, CDA, and X12.

• Implement terminology mappings (SNOMED, ICD, LOINC) along with privacy and confidentiality filters.

• Collaborate and consult with various stakeholders.

• Partner with clients, vendors, and internal teams to define, optimize, and implement healthcare data exchange solutions.

• Advise clients on best practices for health IT interoperability.

• Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.

• Enhance healthcare IT infrastructure.

• Implement Master Patient Index (MPI) and Provider Directory (PD) solutions.

• Develop REST/SOAP web services for seamless data exchange and system interoperability.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare data privacy and security regulations.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Utilize modern SDLC tools and methodologies to streamline development processes.

• Employ GIT, Atlassian, and scripting to enhance deployment and integration workflows.

• Stay informed on industry trends and propose innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, Ensemble, Cache, and ObjectScript.

• Practical experience with HL7, X12, CCD/CDA, XML, and JSON.

• Strong expertise in REST and SOAP web services.

• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and modern version control tools (e.g., Git, Atlassian).

• Experience utilizing Release Management tools such as Jenkins and/or Kubernetes.

• In-depth understanding of healthcare interoperability standards.

• Experience in implementing MPI, Provider Directories, and terminology mapping solutions.

• Knowledge of privacy and security frameworks relevant to healthcare data exchange.
