Business Travel Consultant – Out of Hours

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional travel assistance through chat, telephone, and email communications.

• Keep abreast of current information regarding suppliers, destinations, and relevant systems.

• Evaluate customer requirements, urgency, and preferences effectively.

• Manage reservations for hotels, flights, cars, and rail services.

• Assist customers in utilizing self-service functionalities on the Navan platform and application.

• Respond swiftly while adhering to Service Level Agreement (SLA) expectations.

• Comply with company and customer policies to ensure global regulatory adherence.

• Provide stakeholders with insights regarding goal achievements and essential processes.

• Engage in team meetings that focus on products, suppliers, and industry developments.

• Stay informed about best practices within the travel sector.

• Maintain consistent attendance, complete required training, and meet established performance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Travel Consultant, specifically in air, rail, and hotel bookings; all are essential.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with a Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo; all are essential.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience in contact center or customer service-oriented roles.

• Comfortable utilizing Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce platforms.

• Flexible availability for rotating shifts, from Monday to Sunday, between 7 AM and 11 PM.

• Capable of multitasking, resolving urgent issues promptly, and working independently to troubleshoot challenges.

• Empathetic, professional demeanor with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Must either reside in Portugal or be open to relocating.
