Business Systems Analyst – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Serves as a bridge between end-users/clients and the MedImpact Business and Technology teams.

• Tasked with reviewing, analyzing, and assessing the most intricate business systems and user requirements.

• Develops system solutions that align with overarching business strategies.

• Composes detailed descriptions of user requirements, program functionalities, and the necessary steps to create or alter computer programs.

• Engages with end-users/customers to delineate business necessities for sophisticated software modifications and enhancements.

• Manages and addresses requests for alterations from initial specifications.

• Facilitates design discussions with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Provides recommendations and insights for process enhancements.

• Specifies and documents requirements along with business rules.

• Drives and oversees projects to successful completion while maintaining accountability.

• Guarantees that projects are delivered on schedule, accurately reflect specified requirements, and stay within budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and over 8 years of experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 4 years as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relevant fields.

• Proficient in Visio, Golden 32/TOAD for Oracle, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Securt CRT Design software, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), and Unified Modeling Language.

• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.

• Knowledge of JAVA, Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), AIX/Solaris, and integrated development platforms.

• Familiarity with relational databases and client-server architecture.

• Understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Tableau.

• Practical knowledge of SQL (both Oracle and SQL Server syntax).

• Hands-on experience with data querying tools (e.g., TOAD, SQL Server Management Studio).
