This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Evaluates business challenges that can be addressed through automated solutions, processes, and procedures.
• Offers technical expertise in assessing, developing, and implementing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and fulfill user and system requirements.
• Develops specifications for systems to align with business needs.
• May adjust system settings and options, leading cross-functional teams to resolve business or systems challenges.
• Accountable for integrations, documentation, and post-production support for Workday Financials, Payroll, and HCM.
• Reviews design proposals and provides strategic guidance to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Applies professional judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results on new or special projects.
• Supervises and mentors the BSA team, facilitating engagement with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Serves as a senior leader and subject matter expert on complex, cross-functional projects.
• Contributes to continuous improvement and innovation efforts to achieve measurable productivity gains from identified initiatives.
• Guides resource planning and allocation according to RH standard methodologies to ensure projects are adequately staffed to meet knowledge and timeline requirements.
• Conducts reviews and secures formal approval from Business Owners, DEV, and QA on detailed functional requirements.
• Leverages extensive experience with large-scale systems and interaction design principles to enhance application solutions across departments.
• Manages the resolution of intricate design challenges, ensuring alignment and timely delivery; mentors Levels I-III.
• Collaborates with senior business stakeholders to define and implement system strategy; mentors Levels I-III.
• Develops and orchestrates program plans for the complete development lifecycle, including maintenance planning.
• Plays a key role in Change Management for BSA Team(s) and the user community.
• Creates and oversees the delivery of milestones across teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identifies and defines work packages (tasks), including task identification, work effort (LOE), and dependencies; collaborates across teams as necessary.
• Utilizes extensive experience and knowledge of professional concepts to make effective judgments in resolving mission-critical user inquiries, issues, and concerns.
• Works with technical and BSA teams to ensure optimal execution and implementation of maintenance, enhancement, and project tasks.
• Guarantees the establishment, implementation, and institutionalization of effective processes that ensure overall service levels are achieved.
• Builds relationships with business and IT development teams to deliver effective service management; mentors Levels I-III.
• Directs resources to investigate, communicate, and resolve P1-critical system issues.
• Reports status, risks, and resolution plans to senior and executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Profound expertise in Workday integration practices, along with a strong understanding of upstream and downstream system dependencies.
• Advanced knowledge in Operational, KPI, and Analytical Reporting.
• Solid comprehension of business data, databases, data management, and Data Warehousing.
• Familiarity with project implementation, including scope, timeline, and budget management, as well as SDLC and application development approaches.
• SMLE level of business acumen across multiple functional areas, with proficiency in at least two areas.
• Extensive knowledge of various enterprise applications.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in two or more system development and/or project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMI).
• Understanding of the technical architecture of the organization’s applications and platforms.
• Capability to define and create highly complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts demonstrating the "to be" business or system process flow.
• Proficient in gathering and synthesizing requirements; documenting requirements and validating observations with Business and IT Stakeholders and Senior Management.
• Ability to design detailed and complex test plans for large-scale enterprise initiatives.
• Proven track record in leading, mentoring, and developing BSA team members based on directives from senior team members.
• Competence in providing guidance, mentoring, and daily support to the BSA team.
• Ability to participate in, facilitate, and conduct meetings; gather information; and present status updates to Stakeholders and Senior Management.
