This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Captures business requirements for enhancements or defect resolutions.
• Develops Unit/System Test Cases following RH protocols.
• Communicates Business Requirements as necessary to other BSAs or SWEs.
• Conducts Unit/System Testing as needed; ensures that test outcomes are assessed as Pass/Fail and properly documented.
• May take on the responsibility of implementing system or configuration changes.
• Generates basic ad-hoc reports or queries to support system functionality or user needs.
• Aids in the development of new business processes to facilitate system defect resolutions, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Collaborates with support teams to deliver integrated system support.
• Offers post-implementation support and documentation for enhancements or defects as required.
• Assists with customer training as necessary.
• Manages maintenance and configuration of user tables.
• May support the development team with pre-QA testing (App).
• Ensures that proposed System solutions align with business processes, policies, and procedures.
• Documents various solution options.
• Works alongside business development and QS teams to verify that solutions fulfill business requirements.
• Participates as a team member in special projects.
• Collaborates with technical resources to address basic system issues.
• Resolves fundamental business challenges as required.
• Documents, leads reviews, and secures formal approval from Business Owners, Development, and QA for requirements related to new systems or enhancements.
• Develops functional and system requirements for minor scale changes.
• AA or Certification degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Subject matter expertise in a related line of business.
• Preferred knowledge of SQL.
• Comprehensive experience with complete SDLC lifecycle.
• Functional experience aligned with department-specific business objectives (Visio, Collaboration Tools - Talking, Video, Virtual Meetings).
• Working knowledge of enterprise-level applications.
• Preferred experience with PeopleSoft HCM and/or Time and Labor.
• Preferred experience in ERP/SaaS for HCM/Payroll/Time or familiarity with multiple enterprise applications.
• Preferred experience with PeopleSoft Upgrade.
• Ability to engage and communicate with customers across different expertise levels.
• Capable of conveying technical information to non-technical users.
• Able to articulate business processes to technical teams.
• Proficient in creating simple process flow diagrams or flowcharts that illustrate business or system process flows.
• Skilled in gathering requirements.
• Competent in developing test plans.
• Capable of prioritizing job responsibilities effectively.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Knowledgeable in business systems software.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Ability to write simple queries and reports.
• Capable of adhering to a project plan, meeting established deliverables and timelines.
• Able to execute tasks based on directions from senior team members.
• Adaptable with demonstrated sound judgment.
