This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish effective working relationships with process owners and department leaders.
• Conduct interviews and workshops to identify current processes, constraints, and priorities.
• Document and analyze current processes, focusing on handoffs, rework, manual interventions, and data re-entry.
• Collaboratively design future-state processes with business stakeholders.
• Perform fit-gap analysis in relation to D365 F&O and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
• Collaborate with internal and partner technical experts to outline configuration, customization, automation, and solution strategies.
• Craft user stories that include clear and testable acceptance criteria.
• Generate functional design documents, field-level data mappings, report specifications, and integration and security requirements.
• Develop test cases and scripts that cover both expected and unexpected scenarios.
• Guide business testers through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage and retest defects, and oversee functional acceptance.
• Establish metrics and business rules, collaborating with developers to ensure accurate reporting.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and quick-reference materials, and assist in training delivery.
• Assess post-deployment results and outline subsequent improvement initiatives.
• Support two to three initiatives at various stages during the first year in partnership with the project manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a business analyst or business systems analyst, focused on enterprise application or process improvement projects, managing the full analysis lifecycle independently.
• Proficient in communicating with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, from field staff to executives.
• Strong business acumen, including knowledge of margin, cost, and cash flow.
• Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in exploring process challenges and ambiguous issues.
• Capable of process modeling using DFD, swim lane, or BPMN-style diagrams in tools such as Visio, Lucid, Miro, or similar applications.
• Ability to produce process maps, user stories with acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and personally drafted test cases.
• Proficient in Excel, with skills in pivot tables and lookups.
• Able to interpret data models or entity relationship diagrams and understand data movement across systems.
