Business Systems Analyst

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation of Statements of Work for system integration and platform implementation tasks.

• Engage in requirements gathering sessions alongside business and technical stakeholders.

• Evaluate business needs and convert them into comprehensive System Requirements Documents.

• Develop process flows, system impact analyses, functional specifications, and other documentation artifacts.

• Identify and record both functional and non-functional system requirements.

• Ensure that requirements are effectively communicated to development and delivery teams.

• Identify key stakeholders and work with Information Systems teams to craft efficient solutions.

• Lead solution design sessions with developers, architects, analysts, and QA teams.

• Design screen layouts, wireframes, and user interface prototypes to assist in development.

• Conduct peer reviews and integrate feedback into the requirements documentation.

• Guide requirements walkthroughs with development and testing teams.

• Assess test coverage and aid in prioritizing QA scenarios.

• Analyze defects, identify underlying causes, and suggest corrective measures.

• Monitor deliverables, milestones, and activities related to requirements.

• Provide effort estimations and assist in project planning.

• Manage change requests while ensuring requirements traceability.

• Support governance processes and guarantee the accuracy of documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar capacity.

• Extensive experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.

• Proficiency in creating SRDs, process flows, functional specifications, and associated documentation.

• Capability to facilitate requirements workshops and solution design discussions.

• Experience with supporting SDLC methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Background working alongside developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholders.
