This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish trusted, strategic relationships with state tax teams, acquiring a thorough understanding of their jurisdictional frameworks and operational models.
• Act as the main link between clients and IVIX, interpreting tax agency requirements and operational challenges into organized technical capabilities and measurable results.
• Provide leadership in tax domains, addressing complex jurisdictional issues and steering internal product development according to client demands.
• Manage complete end-to-end delivery processes from the initial Proof of Value (POV) to deployment, overseeing timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
• Advocate for the customer’s perspective internally by collaborating with Product, R&D, Data Solutions, and Sales to foster long-term enhancements to products.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to pinpoint renewal and expansion opportunities by showcasing ROI and utilizing client achievements.
• Proactively oversee stakeholder expectations, identify potential risks early, and alleviate friction points to guarantee long-term client satisfaction.
• Over 15 years of practical and managerial experience in tax enforcement (DOR, IRS, or similar) OR 8+ years of focused tax consulting experience (e.g., Big Four SALT/Forensics).
• Proven history of leading intricate investigations or significant audit projects (“Audit DNA”).
• Strong comprehension of regulatory requirements across various tax jurisdictions.
• Client-focused mindset with a demonstrated ability to lead synchronization meetings, manage intricate timelines, and align senior stakeholders.
• Technical curiosity and capability to grasp AI-driven technologies and analytical methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is highly regarded.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field (Economics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or related disciplines).
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and unstructured work environment.
• Strong cultural awareness, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders.
• High sense of ownership with the capacity to influence without formal authority and to execute both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel as required to support US-based clients, with occasional trips to Israel.
• Experience in Sales & Use, Corporate Income, or Nexus investigations is highly valued.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
