This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish trusted, strategic relationships with state tax teams.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of state tax jurisdictional frameworks and operational models.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and IVIX.
• Convert tax agency requirements and operational challenges into structured technical solutions and measurable results.
• Provide leadership in tax domains and address complex jurisdictional inquiries.
• Direct internal product development in response to customer needs.
• Manage complete delivery cycles from the initial Proof of Value (POV) through to deployment.
• Oversee timelines, milestones, and success criteria to ensure actionable outcomes.
• Represent the customer's perspective within the organization.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, Data Solutions, and Sales teams to foster long-term product enhancements.
• Work alongside Sales leadership to pinpoint renewal and expansion opportunities.
• Showcase ROI and capitalize on client achievements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, identify risks proactively, and alleviate friction points to guarantee sustained client success.
• Over 15 years of hands-on and management experience in tax enforcement (DOR, IRS, or similar), or over 8 years of specialized tax consulting experience (e.g., Big Four SALT/Forensics).
• Proven history of leading complex investigations or high-stakes audit projects (“Audit DNA”).
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements across various tax jurisdictions.
• Client-focused mindset with a demonstrated ability to lead synchronization meetings, manage intricate timelines, and align senior stakeholders.
• Technical curiosity and the capacity to understand AI-driven technology and analytical methodologies.
• Advanced Excel skills are highly regarded.
• BA/B.Sc. in a quantitative or business-related field (Economics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or related areas).
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and unstructured environment.
• High cultural fluency, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building skills across various stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mentality with the ability to influence without formal authority and deliver results both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to assist US-based clients, with occasional travel to Israel.
• Experience in Sales & Use, Corporate Income, or Nexus investigations is highly valued.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support US-based clients, with occasional travel to Israel.
