This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish trusted, strategic relationships with state tax teams, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of their jurisdictional frameworks and operational models.
• Act as the main liaison between clients and IVIX, converting tax agency requirements and operational challenges into organized technical capabilities and measurable results.
• Provide leadership in the tax domain, addressing complex jurisdictional issues and steering internal product development based on client needs.
• Manage complete delivery cycles from the initial Proof of Value (POV) to deployment, overseeing timelines, milestones, and success criteria to guarantee actionable outcomes.
• Advocate for the customer’s perspective internally by working closely with Product, R&D, Data Solutions, and Sales to promote long-term product enhancements.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to identify renewal and expansion prospects by effectively showcasing ROI and leveraging client achievements.
• Proactively oversee stakeholder expectations, identify potential risks early, and alleviate friction points to ensure lasting client success.
• Over 15 years of hands-on and managerial experience in tax enforcement (DOR, IRS, or similar) OR over 8 years of specialized tax consulting experience (e.g., Big Four SALT/Forensics).
• Proven history of leading complex investigations or high-stakes audit projects (“Audit DNA”).
• Strong comprehension of regulatory requirements across various tax jurisdictions.
• Client-focused mindset with a demonstrated ability to lead synchronization meetings, manage intricate timelines, and align senior stakeholders.
• Technical curiosity and the capability to grasp AI-driven technology and analytical methods (advanced Excel skills are highly valued).
• BA/B.Sc. in a quantitative or business-related field (Economics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or similar); an advanced degree is advantageous.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and unstructured environment.
• Strong cultural fluency, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• High ownership mentality with the ability to influence without formal authority and execute both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to support US-based clients, with occasional travel to Israel.
• Experience in Sales & Use, Corporate Income, or Nexus investigations is highly regarded.
• Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
