Business Solutions Developer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develops, designs, configures, and implements solutions that address common business challenges through the use of technological tools or software.

• Engages in research and requirement analysis to assess customer needs, guiding strategy, and overseeing the development process.

• Actively participates in design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.

• Writes code for software applications and programs utilizing inheritance and virtualization while adhering to industry-standard programming practices.

• Conducts in-depth research and analysis to identify optimal solutions for stakeholder requests or issues using the most effective methods or tools.

• Facilitates meetings to gather requirements and provide updates on ongoing projects.

• Maintains ongoing communication with stakeholders throughout the solution development process.

• Collaborates with colleagues on development and solution strategies to pinpoint the most efficient and effective product solutions.

• Conducts regular code reviews and initiates requests for improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field or a similar area.

• Completion of a technical training program (e.g., LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.

• Demonstrates a fundamental understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Proficient in SQL and experienced in developing Web/Windows frameworks.

• Familiarity with SQL, SSIS, or SSRS is required.
