This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Leads and nurtures a team of professionals tasked with risk analysis, evaluation, and reporting.
• Evaluates risk position and conveys risk trends to senior management.
• Manages and oversees the business and third-party risk review pipeline.
• Supervises and assesses third-party evaluations and due diligence assessments and reports.
• Aids and facilitates critical projects and initiatives to enhance revenue generation.
• Maintains vigilance and oversight of emerging risk trends.
• Suggests appropriate modifications to policies, processes, and procedures to support the development of new products.
• Responsible for overseeing personnel, which includes hiring, training, assigning tasks, directing work, setting goals, assessing performance, and addressing employee-related concerns.
• Supervises partner and third-party due diligence, including financial, operational, compliance, and regulatory assessments.
• Implements risk governance framework(s).
• Acts as an escalation point for risk and third-party evaluations, solution development, and approvals.
• Collaborates and fosters relationships with other risk and line of business leaders to achieve initiatives and build trust with stakeholders.
• Develops, tracks, and reports on KPIs and KRIs for various internal metrics.
• Proactively identifies gaps, obstacles, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies that affect revenue initiatives and seeks to resolve them.
• Represents business risk at the appropriate organizational level.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in a risk management capacity.
• Previous experience in Third-Party Risk Management.
• Knowledge of Merchant Acquiring Payment Solutions, Card Brand Rules, Direct-to-Debit, Payment Solutions, Sponsor Banking, Real-Time Payments, Consumer and Commercial Lending.
