This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with regulated professional services firms throughout Scotland and the broader UK.
• Create and implement a structured business development strategy, underpinned by data-driven insights and CRM-focused pipeline management.
• Represent Allica Bank at industry events, conferences, and professional networks, fostering strong relationships with solicitors, accountants, independent financial advisors, and other fiduciary-related intermediaries.
• Act as the primary relationship lead for a portfolio of regulated clients, ensuring exceptional service at every phase of the relationship.
• Support and oversee the onboarding process for regulated entities, ensuring that AML/KYC and other regulatory requirements are fulfilled efficiently and accurately.
• Provide expert knowledge on client-money banking, AML/KYC standards, and fiduciary sector practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, Operations, and other internal teams to refine and enhance the fiduciary banking offering.
• Capture and escalate client feedback to inform product development, risk appetite evaluations, and service enhancements.
• Assist in the preparation of management information (MI), reports, and CRM-driven insights for internal stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments impacting the fiduciary sector (SRA, FCA, MoJ, AML changes, etc.).
• Provide commercial insights to the broader bank regarding opportunities, risks, and market trends.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives by sharing sector expertise, case studies, and client-led insights.
• Demonstrated success in business development, relationship management, or client-facing roles within financial services or professional services.
• Strong grasp of regulated client-money environments (e.g., SRA, FCA, CASS, trust and fiduciary accounts).
• Experience in working with professional or corporate clients and delivering superior service in complex or regulated settings.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
• Highly proactive, commercially oriented, and accountable—capable of driving results independently.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable navigating onboarding requirements, risk considerations, and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
• Willingness to travel throughout Scotland and the wider UK as needed.
