Business Process – Continuous Improvement Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead the discovery of current processes through methods such as interviews, process walkthroughs, data evaluation, gemba observations, and comprehensive process mapping.

• Identify underlying issues, bottlenecks, rework, ambiguous ownership, control deficiencies, data challenges, and breakdowns in cross-functional handoffs.

• Design scalable future-state processes that are aligned with business objectives.

• Define roles, decision rights, handoffs, standard operating procedures, controls, operating rhythms, escalation paths, and performance metrics.

• Develop implementation roadmaps that are sequenced to balance urgency, business continuity, and scalability.

• Plan and lead improvement workshops, root-cause analysis sessions, kaizen events, and design workshops.

• Utilize FormFactor 4C, Lean, Six Sigma, value-stream mapping, risk analysis, and process design methodologies.

• Transform outputs from workshops into actionable items, designated owners, milestones, performance measures, and follow-up systems.

• Implement new workflows, management systems, controls, documentation, and routines in collaboration with business teams.

• Lead pilot projects and rapid prototypes, assess results, and refine solutions prior to scaling.

• Establish process ownership, control points, decision-making rights, escalation thresholds, and accountability frameworks.

• Coordinate documentation, training, communication, adoption strategies, reinforcement activities, dashboards, and operational reviews.

• Evaluate revised processes and oversee corrective actions as necessary.

• Prepare transfer packages that hand off ownership, performance measures, standard work, and responsibilities for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, data analytics, operations, commercial teams, quality assurance, supply chain, and other departments.

• Translate business requirements into process and functional specifications for technical teams.

• Develop reusable methods, standards, templates, and lessons learned for process improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven track record in mapping and redesigning complex end-to-end processes across diverse functions.

• Practical experience in implementing process changes, beyond merely recommending or documenting them.

• Strong skills in facilitation, structured problem-solving, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.

• Familiarity with process governance, decision rights, controls, performance metrics, change adoption, and sustainability practices.

• Experience in sectors such as semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, electronics, capital equipment, high-mix manufacturing, services, or logistics.

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification, along with qualifications in BPM, change management, internal controls, or a related field.

• Experience with SIOP / IBP, capacity planning, manufacturing processes, supply chain, service operations, or technology transfer.

• Proficiency in using process mining, workflow, analytics, automation, modeling, or visualization tools.

• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, planning, manufacturing execution, data warehousing, or reporting platforms.

• Availability for regular day-shift hours.
