Business Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate, cross-departmental special projects from inception to completion (e.g., assessing new market entry strategies, enhancing customer onboarding processes, or formulating commercial pricing models).

• Develop the quantitative frameworks, dashboards, and models required for monitoring company-wide KPIs and assessing new business ventures.

• Act as the liaison among technical AI/ML engineering teams, product managers, and commercial leaders to ensure alignment on key company priorities.

• Review current startup processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and create highly effective, scalable workflows that enable our operations to evolve alongside our technical growth.

• Distill complex technical and financial data into clear, impactful narratives and presentations for executive and board-level discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in analytically rigorous and execution-focused roles such as strategy, operations, consulting, product management, or investment within the energy sector.

• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including experience in financial modeling, data analysis, dashboards, KPIs, or operational analytics.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and independently lead complex cross-functional projects from conception through to execution.

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple high-priority workstreams at once.

• Experience in customer-facing roles and relationship-building, especially in enterprise or B2B contexts.

• Familiarity with collaborating closely with technical teams (AI/ML, software engineering, data science) and effectively communicating between technical and commercial stakeholders.

• Keen attention to detail coupled with a proactive approach to action. You don't wait for a playbook; you create it.

• Knowledge of power markets, renewable energy, battery storage, energy trading, or AI-driven software platforms.

• Background in high-growth environments or startups.

• An MBA from a top-tier business school is advantageous.
