Business Intelligence Report Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain reports and dashboards utilizing SSRS and Power BI.

• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical reporting specifications.

• Enhance SQL queries and data sources to guarantee high-performance reports and dashboards.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to discern reporting needs and deliver data-driven insights.

• Sustain and enhance existing reports and reporting frameworks, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Create documentation for data models, report logic, and technical specifications.

• Perform unit testing and peer reviews to ensure report quality assurance.

• Assist in data validation and reconciliation initiatives.

• Keep abreast of BI tools, techniques, and best practices.

• Execute other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 2–5 years of practical experience with SSRS and Power BI in enterprise settings.

• Proficient SQL skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016+).

• Experience creating paginated reports and dashboards from complex data models.

• Understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling.

• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

• Capability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or supply chain is advantageous.

• Familiarity with GIT, SQL Server performance tuning, or analytics languages (e.g., R, Python) is an asset.

• Bilingualism is a plus (fluent in both Spanish and English).

• Must be legally authorized to work for the Company at all times.

• Valid Passport and willingness to occasionally travel to other office locations in CAD/USA/MEX if necessary.
