Business Intelligence Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Explore and distribute centralized data sources to enhance the dependability and breadth of the corporate Enterprise Data Warehouse.

• Transform transactional data into meaningful and relevant KPIs for business stakeholders across Marketing, Gaming, Hotel, Food and Beverage, Finance, and Human Resources.

• Offer data guidance and training to property analyst teams.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries, ensuring precise delivery and utilization.

• Provide data for advanced analytics and modeling needs.

• Uphold and escalate data quality standards, including local oversight, risk management, and resolution procedures.

• Recognize, collaborate on, and present significant data relationships and KPIs to assist business leaders in comprehending operations.

• Track data performance and SLA thresholds to ensure user adoption.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on new data requirements and definitions.

• Share data insights through various qualitative communication platforms.

• Execute additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline.

• At least 3+ years of experience in data modeling or analytics.

• Proficient in SQL, Tableau, and relational databases.

• Familiarity with Tableau or other BI platforms is mandatory.

• Knowledge of machine learning languages and data modeling, particularly Python, is advantageous.

• Ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, organization, and prioritization.

• Capability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical management.
