This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Design, create, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect reporting and analytics requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Develop and sustain data models, which includes executing data transformations and optimizing queries for enhanced performance.
• Connect and integrate Power BI with SQL databases, Excel files, and cloud-based data services.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and appropriate access controls of data across reports and dashboards.
• Monitor and enhance report performance, usability, and reliability.
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT to expedite Power BI development, including complex DAX expressions, data models, and reporting solutions.
• Provide documentation, guidance, and training to end users to encourage effective utilization of business intelligence tools.
• Continuously improve reporting solutions based on user feedback and changing business requirements.
• Assist broader analytics initiatives by helping to establish best practices for data visualization, reporting, and data governance.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing business intelligence or analytics solutions using Power BI or comparable BI tools.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Strong experience utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT to boost productivity and efficiency in Power BI development.
• Capability to critically assess AI-generated solutions and validate their accuracy, performance, and compliance with Power BI development best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Ability to analyze intricate datasets and present insights in a clear and meaningful manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
