BI Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-depth analysis of business and operational data to address intricate questions and facilitate informed decision-making.

• Create dependable metrics and analytical frameworks featuring clearly defined, traceable figures backed by accurate source data.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify emerging trends, uncover potential opportunities, and convert insights into actionable recommendations.

• Develop and uphold recurring analyses, dashboards, and reporting procedures.

• Enhance operational efficiency and minimize manual tasks.

• Detect inconsistencies, data quality problems, and misleading outcomes.

• Implement validation practices to avert recurring data issues.

• Present analytical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.

• Oversee multiple analytical projects independently, prioritizing tasks based on business significance and urgency.

• Support data governance by documenting metrics, sources, assumptions, and analytical techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science.

• Over 4 years of professional experience in analytics, with at least 3 years in roles such as Data Analyst, Business Analyst, BI Analyst, or a similar capacity.

• Proficient hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis, statistical evaluation, and visualization.

• Experience in handling large and intricate datasets within a high-volume, transactional setting.

• Solid understanding of statistical concepts that extend beyond basic reporting and aggregation.

• Proven track record of utilizing data to influence or modify business decisions.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to validating analytical results.

• Experience in automating recurring reporting or analytical workflows and assessing efficiency improvements.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
