Business Intelligence Analyst – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine large datasets comprising millions of records to uncover trends, patterns, and exploratory insights.

• Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to address intricate business challenges and predict outcomes.

• Collaborate with business teams to comprehend their strategies and objectives, subsequently converting them into actionable data initiatives.

• Create and sustain dashboards in Tableau that deliver clear, jargon-free insights.

• Work alongside data engineering and technical colleagues to automate and operationalize your models.

• Offer data-driven recommendations with measurable value to enhance product features, engagement, and member experience.

• Track key metrics and performance indicators to devise strategies for business impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, data-driven decision-making, or strategy roles.

• Demonstrated capability to extract, manipulate, and transform large datasets using Python and/or SQL.

• Expertise in data visualization techniques and tools, including Tableau.

• Bachelor's degree in data science, finance, statistics, economics, or a related field is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the skill to convey complex data insights to a non-technical audience.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, consultative approach.

• Experience in statistical experiment design and testing, including inferential statistics.

• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Familiarity or experience in financial services, digital publishing, or subscription products is preferred.

• Proficiency in ML/AI techniques, including predictive modeling to derive insights and implement optimizations is a plus.

• Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics is a plus.

• Familiarity with Jira/project management tools and Git-based workflows is preferred.
