Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and enhance automated dashboards in Looker / Google Data Studio to monitor revenue, gross margin, and operational KPIs across all channels.

• Write and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery to extract, transform, and model data from ERPs, e-commerce platforms, and marketplace APIs.

• Generate monthly business intelligence reports that synthesize performance metrics into executive-ready narratives.

• Create automated reporting workflows utilizing Google Sheets, BigQuery, and BI tools.

• Identify trends, anomalies, and leading indicators in product mix and channel performance, offering strategic recommendations.

• Validate data accuracy against source systems and address reporting discrepancies.

• Collaborate with sales, merchandising, operations, and finance teams to provide actionable reporting solutions.

• Work in partnership with engineering on database architecture, data integration, and pipeline enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a quantitative analytical position.

• Strong proficiency in SQL (BigQuery is preferred) and familiarity with modern BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).

• Advanced skills in using Google Sheets for ad hoc analysis, data modeling, and automated reporting.

• Demonstrated capability to design clear, intuitive dashboards and convert complex data sets into strategic executive summaries.

• Experience with or a strong interest in e-commerce, retail, consumer products, or manufacturing sectors.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

• Fluent English is a requirement.

• Candidates must reside in Latin America.
