This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain Power BI datasets, data models, and dashboards.

• Comprehend and articulate data flows from source systems via Azure Data Factory into Fabric and Power BI.

• Independently diagnose data-related issues.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Ensure data accuracy and quality for reporting outputs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting challenges.

• Document data models, datasets, and reporting logic thoroughly.

• Utilize AI tools to draft queries, DAX/Power Query logic, and documentation, while ensuring correctness.

• Identify and implement AI-driven automation for manual reporting processes.

• Enhance self-service analytics capabilities.

• Expand into Cin7's wider Customer Operations systems, including ChurnZero, Salesforce, and ZenDesk, with training available as needed.

• Maintain the baseline configuration of ChurnZero as part of the Customer Operations function.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (such as information systems, computer science, business analytics, or a related field), or equivalent demonstrated experience in BI-specific roles.

• 2–3 years of practical Power BI experience in building datasets and data models, including relationships, DAX measures, and Power Query.

• Proficient in SQL, with the ability to read and validate data and understand joins, keys, and grain.

• Capability to explain the significance of data and its origins.

• Proven ability to incorporate AI tools into daily BI workflows, validate AI outputs independently, and pinpoint suitable automation opportunities.

• Direct experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory is a plus.

• Experience managing a BI dataset/model from start to finish is an added advantage.
