Analytics Business Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in engaging end-users by supporting credit unions and internal teams in generating reports.

• Investigate data inquiries and issues, providing solutions to BI Analysts when defects or enhancements are discovered.

• Create and develop new reports aimed at addressing intricate business challenges.

• Generate and sustain educational resources and training documentation.

• Lead training sessions for both internal and external audiences.

• Advocate for analytical tools, methodologies, and conceptual frameworks to enhance business intelligence and decision-making processes.

• Define and implement product lifecycle and iterative design strategies for reports, educational resources, and engagement methods.

• Contribute to formal projects by outlining scope and objectives, gathering and prioritizing business requirements, assessing risks, and translating requirements into effective solutions and implementation strategies.

• Gather, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources; identify user needs and document concepts or remediation plans.

• Develop use cases and execute test scripts for user acceptance testing.

• Identify, develop, and assist in the execution of implementation and readiness initiatives while mitigating risks and addressing barriers to end-user adoption.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Intelligence, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in product service/support or client relationship roles within the financial services sector is required.

• At least two (2) years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst position, working with large data sets, identifying trends, and relational databases is required.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience with data delivery or analytical tools/applications is preferred.
