• Take charge of a substantial employment-based immigration caseload independently, ensuring accuracy and delivering exceptional client service.
• Prepare and submit non-immigrant petitions, including H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3 matters.
• Assist with immigrant processes, encompassing PERM, I-140 (EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2, EB-3), I-485, and EB-2 NIW.
• Compose compelling and compliant support letters for O-1 and L-1A filings that effectively convey eligibility arguments.
• Create basic letters for H-1B filings and straightforward RFE responses with polished, client-ready writing.
• Prepare comprehensive replies for intricate RFEs, NOIDs, and PERM audit responses, complete with well-structured exhibits and timelines.
• Maintain meticulous case tracking, calendars, and internal documentation to ensure all deadlines are consistently met.
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner, utilizing clear written and verbal communication in English (and Spanish when necessary).
• Provide proactive updates, identify risks early, and ensure cases progress without the need for constant follow-ups.
• Guarantee that all drafting and client communications are human-generated and professionally refined, avoiding reliance on AI-generated messages.
• 2–3+ years of direct experience as a business (employment-based) immigration paralegal in either a law firm or a corporate immigration setting.
• Practical experience in preparing and supporting filings for H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3.
• Direct involvement with PERM, I-140 (EB categories), and I-485 case support, including handling complex documentation workflows.
• Proven ability to independently oversee a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong legal drafting capabilities, encompassing support letters and detailed responses to RFEs/NOIDs/PERM audits.
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills for client-facing interactions.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines in a high-demand legal environment.
• Experience in drafting support for EB-2 NIW and organizing associated evidence.
• Background in developing complex O-1 case strategies (e.g., evidence mapping, exhibit indexing, narrative construction).
• Familiarity with prevalent immigration case management systems and disciplined tracking practices.
