This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize state-of-the-art AI tools to assist a technology-driven legal team, enhancing contracting, research, and operational processes.
• Negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, such as non-disclosure and vendor agreements, ensuring that Paxos’s interests are safeguarded while facilitating swift business operations.
• Oversee the formation and governance of legal entities, becoming proficient in Paxos’s international corporate framework, which includes maintaining corporate records, board and shareholder consents, and associated governance documents.
• Develop and expand the company’s legal operations function by refining templates, workflows, playbooks, and systems to boost efficiency and minimize risk.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (such as Finance, Compliance, Product, Operations, and Procurement) to support commercial, corporate, and operational initiatives.
• Lead process enhancements within the legal team by identifying areas for improvement, proposing solutions, and ensuring successful implementation.
• Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
• Background in corporate and transactional matters, including the drafting and reviewing of legal agreements and related documents.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally on multiple projects under tight deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong desire to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment, with the capability to adapt as priorities and business needs shift.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, along with negotiation skills, able to clearly articulate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI legal tools (for example, contract review, document automation, or legal research) and a keen interest in exploring new technologies to enhance legal workflows.
