This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Case Management: Assist in tracking active cases, ensuring that essential steps are executed accurately, and maintaining litigation workflows without unnecessary delays.
• Client Communication: Engage with clients via phone, collect case-related information, provide updates, and communicate in a professional, clear, and client-friendly manner.
• Document Management: Systematically organize, label, categorize, and accurately name legal documents, including those stored in Clio or similar case management systems.
• Calendar Management: Monitor critical deadlines, court dates, discovery timelines, and attorney schedules to ensure that no important dates are overlooked.
• Medical Records Coordination: Assist in obtaining, tracking, and organizing medical records necessary for case development.
• Scheduling: Facilitate the coordination of depositions, mediations, court proceedings, client calls, and other appointments related to cases as required.
• U.S. Litigation Experience: 3–5+ years of experience providing support to U.S.-based law firms, preferably with direct litigation support experience.
• Discovery Experience: Strong capability to assist in drafting discovery documents, responding to discovery requests, organizing relevant documentation, and supporting attorneys throughout the discovery process.
• Strong English Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, ensuring clients feel comfortable and understood.
• Client-Facing Confidence: Comfortable with direct client interaction, gathering information, and communicating with professionalism and empathy.
• Clio Experience: Familiarity with Clio is preferred, particularly in entering information, categorizing documents, labeling files, and keeping case materials organized.
• Detail-Oriented: Exhibits high attention to detail, particularly concerning legal documents, deadlines, case information, and follow-through.
• Proactive and Independent: Capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and advancing tasks without requiring constant oversight.
• Remote Work Readiness: Comfortable working remotely while maintaining consistent productivity, reliability, and clear communication during Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.
