This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Execute all phases of the sales process, encompassing lead generation and prospecting through to closing, while fostering customer loyalty, retention, and growth via cross-selling and up-selling.
• Meet with clients and prospective clients to gain insight into their needs and present technically viable solutions.
• Conduct market analysis to foresee potential needs.
• Develop technical-commercial proposals, deliver presentations, and engage in negotiations with clients.
• At least a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (preferred fields: Environmental Sciences, Food Industries, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Veterinary Sciences, Agricultural and Animal Production).
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in business development and/or technical-commercial roles.
• Relevant professional experience in the areas of ALS Life Sciences Portugal, S.A. is highly desirable (e.g., consultancy and/or commercial positions).
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
• Customer-centric approach.
• Resilience along with strong negotiation and communication capabilities.
• Initiative-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks and excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Enjoys challenges, demonstrating a strong focus on results and goals.
