
Business Development/Sales Engineer – Specialty Lubricants

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Act as the company representative at regional industry events and trade shows.
• Cultivate and sustain in-depth knowledge of key accounts' global activities, product offerings, and applications.
• Propel profitable growth by acquiring new business and promoting FUCHS' "Seal for Life" lubrication strategy.
• Actively pursue business opportunities with both existing and prospective accounts.
• Oversee the business engagements with assigned key accounts, focusing on boosting sales for these and new accounts.
• Perform continuous market research to discover market opportunities and stay informed about competitors.
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Chemistry or Engineering is preferred.
• An MBA is highly desirable.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales and account development is required.
• Demonstrated experience in initiating, managing, and finalizing sales processes.
• Strong consultative selling skills coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Outstanding decision-making and negotiation capabilities.
• Strategic vision and adept planning skills.
• Proactive, goal-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate in international teams.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred).
• Willingness to travel frequently on short notice.
