Business Development – Strategic Partnerships Manager, Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Build and nurture robust relationships with hyperscale clients, general contractors, trade partners, commissioning agents, and mission-critical stakeholders.

• Act as a key point of contact for client engagement, managing escalations, and developing partnerships.

• Facilitate regular client meetings, project reviews, and operational check-ins to guarantee alignment, transparency, and client satisfaction.

• Work closely with operations and project teams to ensure successful project execution and an outstanding client experience.

• Aid in client retention efforts and identify opportunities for additional project scope, retrofits, phased expansions, and long-term collaborations.

• Seek out and pursue new business opportunities in data center construction, commissioning, retrofits, maintenance, and operational support services.

• Create and oversee a pipeline of prospective clients, strategic partnerships, and market opportunities.

• Assist in proposal development, RFP responses, presentations, contract negotiations, and onboarding processes.

• Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, trade associations, and client meetings.

• Keep track of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive movements within the data center and mission-critical infrastructure sectors.

• Collaborate with leadership to promote geographic expansion, service diversification, and strategic growth initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in client engagement, business development, account management, or strategic partnerships within the data center, construction, mission-critical, or infrastructure industries.

• A strong understanding of data center construction, commissioning, operations, or mission-critical environments is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships that result in commercial growth and lasting partnerships.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in supporting proposals, client presentations, and business growth initiatives.

• Ability to excel in fast-paced, high-growth operational settings.
