Business Development Specialist II, Project Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer guidance for CRS' project design expertise and promote best practices in design throughout CRS.

• Create essential design resources and enhance design capabilities across the organization.

• Develop innovative solutions and provide direction on strategic funding opportunities.

• Assist in the effective distribution of design resources towards ongoing BD initiatives.

• Act as the Design Lead for strategic opportunities, including overseeing capture activities and contributing to proposal writing, MEAL design, and budgeting.

• Provide advice and support to teams in formulating proposal development plans.

• Organize and facilitate both in-person and hybrid design sessions.

• Aid in the implementation of the updated flagship resource, *ProPack*.

• Monitor and evaluate project design trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in international development or a related field.

• At least eight years of experience in international development, with a minimum of three years in BD, programming, or technical roles, ideally with experience in leading design for complex proposals.

• Two years of experience in multi-cultural and/or multilingual work environments.

• Proficiency in oral and written English is essential. Working knowledge of French, Arabic, or Spanish is an advantage.
