This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Conduct field medical visits in partnership with distributors, ensuring ongoing education and awareness of Penumbra products.
• Organize, plan, and execute hands-on sessions, workshops, and in-hospital product training for healthcare professionals and distributors.
• Serve as the primary support in the field for distributor activities, ensuring alignment with Penumbra’s clinical and commercial strategies.
• Facilitate the implementation of product launches in the assigned region by collaborating with distributors to enhance product adoption and market penetration in key accounts.
• Collect and report market intelligence from the field to the Country Manager, identifying opportunities, challenges, and competitive dynamics.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with distributors to ensure uniformity in messaging, training, and execution.
• Select, oversee, train, and develop personnel. Set objectives and assignments while providing continuous feedback through performance evaluations and development plans.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Devices (Sales, Clinical Support, or Training roles), ideally with exposure to field education and product demonstrations.
• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare market and medical device industry within the region.
• Proven experience in conducting workshops, training sessions, or hands-on product demonstrations in hospitals and with distributors.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple activities concurrently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at engaging with physicians, nurses, and distributor teams.
• High level of ownership, precision, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region (up to 70%).
• Proficiency in English is preferred.
• General office, laboratory, cleanroom, and hospital settings.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site.
• Business travel ranging from 50% to 70%.
• Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and other infectious materials.
• Some lifting and moving of items weighing up to 25 pounds may be required.
• Capability to wear 7-9 pounds of lead for prolonged periods.
• Occasional on-call availability required, 24/7.
• Ability to communicate and relay accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
