This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Cultivate the designated territory through all current and potential channels of the Business Development Team.
• Oversee the current client portfolio in the region to foster organic growth via new business acquisition, renewal retention, and the establishment of new relationships.
• Regular travel to meet new, existing, and prospective clients within the territory, collaborating closely with underwriting and Business Development Team management to provide an exceptional level of service for our clients and their insured parties.
• Formulate strategic plans for the growth and expansion of your territory, as well as product development and other production-focused initiatives.
• Act as a client advocate and consultative advisor on the company’s offerings and the broader marketplace.
• Partner with underwriting personnel to collaboratively build relationships.
• Participate in industry events to engage with partners and become a key resource for the assigned territory.
• Possesses a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in the insurance sector, specifically in professional liability insurance.
• Exhibits a strong level of energy, professional persistence, relationship-building skills, sales capability, and self-motivation.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, time management, and teamwork abilities, consistently striving for results.
• Holds a proven record of attaining desired outcomes.
• Maintains the necessary licenses or the capacity to secure them promptly.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned territory and participate in industry events.
