β’ Assist the regional sales team in formulating and implementing effective sales strategies.
β’ Work alongside experienced colleagues to ensure a seamless transfer of opportunities and facilitate a smooth sales experience.
β’ Promote and present CDMO services to potential clients, emphasizing the key advantages.
β’ Support contract negotiations and deal closures with guidance from senior team members.
β’ Maintain and utilize an accurate CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to track and organize customer interactions, update contact details, and monitor progress on leads and opportunities.
β’ Provide consistent follow-up reports on sales activities, including pipeline status, lead conversion rates, and sales projections.
β’ Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes.
β’ Participate in industry events and trade shows to generate leads and broaden the professional network.
β’ Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential customers by delivering outstanding customer service and demonstrating the value of our products/services.
β’ Schedule meetings with prospective clients and collaborate with the current Business Development team to present product/service offerings and address any questions or concerns.
β’ 0-3 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, project management, or another customer-facing role.
β’ Prior experience with Catalent or another CDMO is preferred.
β’ Experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer health industry is preferred.
β’ Sales or business development experience in the contract pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
β’ A strong hunting mentality is essential.
β’ Demonstrated willingness to learn new techniques and collaborate with other Business Development team members to grasp the fundamentals of selling.
β’ Enthusiasm to learn and build expertise in CDMO sales.
β’ Ability and readiness to travel up to 50% of the time for client meetings and industry events.
