This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, market conditions, competitor activities, and growth opportunities within assigned sectors to inform business development strategies.
• Engage in business development by prospecting, qualifying, and cultivating new customers in designated markets, focusing on high-value industrial and infrastructure projects that enhance revenue and promote regional growth.
• Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to specific markets, facilitate client meetings and presentations, and effectively communicate the benefits of AssetGuard’s polyurea coating and lining solutions through demonstrated project outcomes and technical expertise.
• Foster territory development primarily in the Midwest, Rust Belt, Northeast, and East Coast, while remaining adaptable to pursue nationwide opportunities based on customer needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, technical, production, and project management teams to align product offerings with client requirements, support successful project delivery, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Generate sales performance reports, provide market insights and client feedback, and forecast sales and revenue for assigned markets to assist in strategic planning.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least five (5) years of sales or business development experience in relevant fields; preference for candidates with experience in coatings, linings, protective materials, industrial products, or related markets.
• Familiarity with polyurea technology and its applications is preferred; candidates with strong industrial sales experience and a willingness to learn technical solutions will also be considered.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the capability to engage a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of selling to both small businesses and enterprise-level clients.
• Demonstrated success in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.
• Experience in selling to municipalities, engineering firms, contractors, manufacturers, or industrial end users is highly preferred.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to reconcile short-term sales targets with long-term growth strategies.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
