This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Identify emerging growth markets, analyze business needs, and create and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to acquire market share from both new and existing customers.
• Design and carry out a multi-dimensional sales strategy to effectively engage with potential clients.
• Cultivate effective and collaborative relationships with key decision-makers within prospective organizations.
• Partner with national marketing resources to devise effective, targeted go-to-market plans for various sub-segments.
• Collaborate with marketing to execute events and outreach campaigns that identify and engage potential targets, enhancing the Roxtec brand presence in the marketplace.
• Recognize the short- and long-term needs and challenges of prospective accounts and understand how Roxtec's solutions can meet those needs.
• Collaborate with a team of peers and other sales and marketing professionals throughout the pursuit process, guiding prospects through all phases of the sales cycle.
• Develop and negotiate competitive pricing strategies.
• Efficiently manage all opportunities to ensure they progress appropriately through the sales pipeline.
• Work with leadership to establish business development targets, goals, and strategies.
• Build strong networking relationships with key decision-makers at various levels within customer organizations, industry bodies, and key business partners.
• Act as a consultant to leaders, project participants, and customers.
• Create a sales pipeline sufficient to achieve the annual top-line growth targets.
• Stay informed about industry trends by attending sales, trade, and product learning meetings.
• Define sales potential, prepare budgets, and maintain sales tracking along with other essential administrative reporting.
• Deliver technical presentations and product installation training to diverse audiences.
• Utilize CRM software as the primary tool for managing daily sales activities, including pre-call plans, detailed contact management, quotations, communication/email tracking, and project management.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and other internal departments, ensuring key individuals are informed to maintain positive customer relations.
• Stay aware of Roxtec’s internal policies and the Roxtec Core Values as they relate to daily operations.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of the time.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Committed to the principles of Value Added Selling and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies.
• Skilled in time and travel management.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Extensive experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple team members and decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Preferred experience and involvement with industry associations and/or non-profit organizations.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales; technical and/or project sales experience is preferred.
