Business Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Generating leads for sales opportunities.

• Preparing pricing estimates for projects and submitting formal proposals to clients.

• Pre-qualifying potential clients by asking relevant questions to determine budget, timelines, and compatibility, and preparing quotations and site installation meetings as necessary.

• Managing client expectations by keeping them informed of company processes, policies, and timelines.

• Updating clients on business changes such as product offerings, pricing adjustments, or assembly options.

• Utilizing CRM systems to monitor Accounts, Opportunities, and Contacts along with associated timelines.

• Participating in various departmental and interdepartmental meetings and training sessions as required.

• Attending industry shows, conferences, and events as necessary.

• Performing other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction/building materials industry, ideally in the powder coating and extrusion sectors.

• Strong business and sales acumen, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• A solid understanding of the metals industry is a strong asset, particularly in powder coating and aluminum extrusions.

• A high-energy, detail-oriented, results-driven, and self-motivated individual.

• Exceptional planning, coordination, and scheduling abilities.

• Reliability, integrity, passion, and in-person presentation skills with a strong ability to build relationships and close deals.

• Outstanding customer service skills, with a proven track record of surpassing client expectations and identifying the best products to meet client needs.

• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.

• Flexibility with work hours is essential.
