This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze and summarize essential utility filings submitted to state commissions related to DSM and DER initiatives and mandates.
• Identify, prospect, and qualify potential clients, partners, leads, and opportunities in the utility and energy sectors.
• Conduct outbound communications, including calls and emails, to spark interest and secure meetings with decision-makers.
• Customize presentations to highlight Resource Innovations' extensive utility and energy management solutions.
• Engage in pre-sale meetings to grasp client and market needs; document and follow up on identified action items to ensure opportunities progress.
• Actively contribute to account and capture planning processes by sharing insights on clients and opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, delivery, and proposal teams to create tailored proposals that align with client objectives.
• Maintain precise records of interactions, leads, and pipeline activities within CRM systems.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape to discover new opportunities.
• Advocate for Resource Innovations’ innovative strategies and solutions that provide measurable energy savings and sustainability benefits.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance company visibility and cultivate strategic relationships.
• Assist in the creation of targeted marketing campaigns and outreach strategies to expand our client base.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in utility business development, sales, or account management within the utility, energy management, or related sectors.
• Strong comprehension of utility operations, energy efficiency, and regulatory environments.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to lead generation and qualification.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience using ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
