This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Identify and engage manufacturing prospects throughout the United States, including automotive suppliers, electronics manufacturers, industrial OEMs, food & beverage manufacturers, and other high-volume production settings. Utilize phone, email, LinkedIn, and innovative outbound strategies.
• Map out decision-makers. For each target, locate the Quality/Engineering owner (Quality Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Operations Lead) on LinkedIn and create personalized outreach based on the inspection challenges we have resolved for similar organizations.
• Approach with curiosity. Discover the actual obstacles: Is it cost? Downtime? False positives in existing systems? Get detailed. Understand what makes inspection difficult for them.
• Qualify rigorously. Ask insightful questions. Critically assess whether an opportunity is genuine. Your performance will be evaluated on the quality of qualification, not just activity. Unproductive meetings harm the team, while effective ones build momentum.
• Collaborate with Vision Sales Engineers. Once you have pinpointed a legitimate use case, pass along clear, actionable insights. Then stay informed to learn about what was successful and what was not.
• Maintain a tidy HubSpot. Ensure consistent data, clear activity logs, and thorough notes. Your future self will appreciate it.
• Continuously improve. Test different messaging. Monitor what resonates. Share insights with the team. We adapt quickly.
• Previous experience in outbound sales (BDR, SDR, inside sales, or a similar role)
• Strong phone communication skills and intuitive outbound instincts
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and quickly finding solutions
• High level of curiosity and a willingness to grasp technical concepts
• Ability to ask insightful questions and critically assess opportunity alignment
• Organized, dependable, and responsible
• Residing in the United States with excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on working with and targeting U.S.-based manufacturers.
• Background in manufacturing, SaaS, or technical sales (Nice to Have)
• Familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Nooks (Nice to Have)
• Basic knowledge of production processes or quality control (Nice to Have)
• Understanding of the manufacturing industry and familiarity with U.S. industrial markets (Nice to Have).
• Work on a product that delivers real results. Not a prototype or pilot; real factories, genuine production lines, and tangible ROI for customers.
• Be part of rapid growth. You'll assist in expanding our footprint in some of the most significant manufacturing markets across the United States.
• Direct influence on GTM strategy. Your on-the-ground insights will directly impact how we position and sell in the region.
• Opportunities for advancement. Strong BDRs in high-growth companies often don’t remain BDRs for long. We promote from within.
• Engage in meaningful work. You're helping manufacturers tackle issues that legacy technology has failed to address. That is significant.
